What Is Photographed
Jewellery shoots are planned under three headings.
Product catalogue
Rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces on a white backdrop under consistent light: images that can be compared side by side for e-commerce and catalogues.
Product image
Concept frames where stone, wood and natural surfaces are staged in the studio. The metal, texture and detail of the piece come forward.
Model image
Close-up and portrait frames showing how rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets sit on the body.
Who It Is For
Jewellery photography is planned for brands that want to present their products online or in print.
Jewellery brands and workshops
Brands and handmade jewellery workshops that want to present a collection with catalogue and campaign images in one language.
E-commerce sellers
Clean product images that show the true colour and metal tone of the piece, for your own site or marketplaces.
Designers and boutiques
Designers who want to build a portfolio, social media and print material for serial or one-off pieces.

How a Shoot Works
Every shoot follows four steps.
Brief and concept
The brand, the collection and the channel the images will be used on are discussed; shoot type (catalogue, product image or model image), surface and props are planned.
The studio shoot
Jewellery shoots are always done in the studio; on shiny metal and stones, light and reflections are managed in a controlled environment.
Selection and retouching
Frames are sent to you once colour and framing are adjusted; the ones you select are retouched staying faithful to how the metal, stone and texture really look.
Delivery
For a one-day shoot, delivery takes about 1-2 days, at the size of the channel the images are meant for and also in original size.
Preparing for the Shoot
Three points are settled at the brief stage so the shoot runs efficiently.
Piece list
The pieces to be shot, variants and order of priority are collected in one list; the frames wanted for each piece are decided.
Condition of the pieces
Pieces that arrive clean, undamaged and complete (box, label) reduce retouching. How the pieces will reach the studio is planned at the brief stage.
Where the images will be used
Marketplace, your own site, catalogue or campaign: backdrop, framing and sizes are planned to the requirements of the channel.
What the Price Depends On
Because the number of pieces and the concept differ for every brand, a quote is prepared around these points.

The number of pieces, the frames wanted per piece and variants.
Shoot type
White backdrop catalogue, product image or model image shoot; surface, props and model preparation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where does the shoot take place?
Jewellery shoots are always done in the studio; light and reflections on shiny metal and stones can only be managed properly in a controlled environment. Pieces from Ankara, Istanbul and across Turkey are shot in the studio.
Which pieces do you photograph?
Jewellery such as rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets and chains. If yours is not listed, ask with a short brief.
What is the difference between catalogue, product image and model image shoots?
A catalogue shoot shows the piece clean and comparable on a white backdrop. In a product image shoot the piece becomes part of a scene built in the studio with surfaces such as stone or wood. A model image shoot shows how a piece sits on the body.
How many pieces can be shot in a day?
It depends on the piece and the type of shoot. Catalogue shots on white allow more pieces a day; in an image shoot the surface, texture and props change for each piece, so the daily frame count drops noticeably. The scope is settled at the brief stage.
Can I send my pieces from another city?
Yes. How the pieces will reach the studio is planned at the brief stage; the shoot is done in the studio and the frames are sent to you once colour and framing are adjusted.
How long do the shoot and delivery take?
For a one-day shoot, delivery takes about 1-2 days. The shoot itself depends on the number of pieces, the set-up and the type of shoot.
Do you shoot for marketplaces?
Yes. The frames you select are retouched and delivered at the size and resolution settings of the marketplace or site you will use, and also in original size for other channels.
How is the price determined?
It depends on the scope of the shoot (number of pieces and frames, shoot type, retouching and usage). A quote follows a short brief.
